    About Us

The National Center for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Genetics is an independent non-profit organization. NCDEG was established in 1996 as one of the centers affiliated by the Higher Council for Science and Technology. The main goal of NCDEG is providing quality health care, education and training in the fields of diabetes, endocrinology and genetics.
 
   Patient Care

In view of the increased prevalence of diabetes and dysglycemia (30%), hypertension (37%), obesity and overweight (74%) and dyslipidemia (50%) among the population of Jordan, it became mandatory to plan for the future with the objectives of preventing or delaying the complications of these chronic diseases.

 
    Laboratories

 The laboratories in the NCDEG are specialized and contain advanced and modern equipment that enable it to perform advanced tests and acquire accurate results.
 
 
 
    About The President

Professor Kamel Ajlouni is the president of NCDEG, He attended Rashidiah College in Jerusalem and Hussein College in Amman, Jordan. Professor Ajlouni received a medical degree from the University of Heidelberg in Germany and an Honorary Doctorate in Law from the University of Windsor, Canada.
